ABOUT ME..... One day out of nowhere I was 50 and I was just a mum and a carer. All mums will know there is no such thing, and I realised I needed more. I needed something for me, something I enjoyed and looked forward to. I didn’t know what at the time. 5 years ago I went to a craft show and really enjoyed it and it reminded me of a time when I was happy. Was it too late to start something new at my age? Could I fit it in with my mum/carer role? Driving home after that show, juices started flowing for the first time in ages and Lilyjoes Creations was born. 5 years later it is going from strength to strength and I am loving every minute of it. I love what I do and I am so glad that I took the leap. I am still a mum, and I am still a carer but more!
